WHO WILL I RACE??
Racers are divided up by age and experience. All new riders start in the novice (or beginner) class. When a novice has 6 First place wins he will move up to the Intermediate class. After 20 First place wins the intermediate rider will then move up to the expert class. The age classes start at 5 and under novice and move up from there. All ages and sexes our welcome to join. Girls have their own class but when there is no other girls to race she will then move to intermediate boys class of her age. Same with the boys. If there isn't any 8 year old novices for a boy to race he will then move up to 9 year old novices. If there isn't any 9 year old novice for the boys to race then he will then move to an 8 year old Intermediate class and so on until there are at least three riders to make a class.
On any given day there is either a two or three moto transfer. A two moto transfer gives a rider two chances (or Qualifiers)to makes their main. A Three moto transfer gives you three. if a rider has 11 or more riders in their class they will then have to qualify for a semi in which they will race after all the qualifiers are fininshed and they will take so many riders at of those to make thier main. There are also total points races. These are made up of 3 riders and on each qualifier they will get points for whatever position they get. The rider with the least amount of points(or the most 1st place finishes) will recieve first place.. Confused By All Of This?? Ask for a rulebook from your local track and read up on it.. It will make a whole lot more sense...
